Winemaker's Note
Our Bendigo vineyard is located high on the Bendigo Terraces, north facing, steep slopes give an incredible aspect. The Lowburn Vineyard, we have worked with for the last 3 years, 30 year old vines on a beautiful, cool site.
The fruit packed lots of flavour and was well poised, with great acidity. The wine was pressed to barrel where it fermented naturally and underwent partial malolactic fermentation.
The result - our Chardonnay has a beautiful white stone fruit nose and a hint of struck match. The palate is textural, layered and perfectly balanced. The acid, fruit and oak used in this wine sit well together. Great for drinking now through the next five years
