Mcarthur Ridge Brassknocker Pinot Noir 2022

Dark red core with black toned edges and a light red to red hue. The nose offers up spicy dark to black cherry, strawberry and anise aromas which are intermeshed with toasty oak, earth and dried herb notes. Rich, concentrated and juicy the mid weighted palate is awash with black cherry, dark plum and anise flavours. Expansive and supple in its feel it has velvet smooth tannins and ample power. Notions of toasty oak, dried herbs, earth and spice linger through the long seductive finish. Trophy winner for top New Zealand Pinot Noir at the International Wine Competition 2024.
