The Perle d'Ivoire is an excellent blend of Chardonnay that shows the full-body of Mâconnais and the vivacity and freshness of Yonne. Burgundy is the place for Chardonnay. Perle d'Ivoire is a complex blend of grapes from different areas, each chosen for its own special characteristics: those from Mâconnais give roundness and suppleness, while those from Chablisien and Châtillonais give elegance and freshness. The nose develops aromas of citrus and flowers, evolving to butter and brioche notes with age. The palate is round and intense, with very complex secondary aromas.
