Longview Whippet Sauvignon Blanc took its name from an all-purpose dog breed - Whippet - known for its gentle, undemanding, friendly and social nature. Zippy and elegant just like whippets, this cool climate Sauv Blanc flaunts a pale lemon colour when poured into a glass. The wine is packed with springtime aromas of freshly cut grass, honeysuckle and passionfruit. Refreshing natural acidity gives focus and length to the wine, with a bracing palate of citrus and nettles lingering till the finale. This vegan-friendly wine works well with BBQ green chilli prawns served with coriander lime dressing.
