This Shiraz is from the same vineyard in Clarendon as the Tikka above. Ralph Wood’s dry-grown, organic site sits at a lofty 280 metres with 30-year-old vines rooted in grey sand and ironstone soils.
The 2023 is the 12th release of this wine, and it followed the same carbonic vinification as its predecessors. After a week, the wine was pressed to fibreglass for 11 months’ maturation.
