Oh, this is a pleasure to drink. An off-dry Eden Valley Riesling.
Coming in at a lean 9% alcohol, this has Thai night written all over it. Admittedly, the day after tasting I had it with a Malaysian curry and it was a winner.
An energetic wine, Bickford's lime cordial, kaffir lime and lemon zest loom large. A dab of sweetness makes an appearance early before fresh citrus fruits and a minerally drive dazzle through the mouth with a cleansing and crisp acidity the ideal conclusion. Dry to finish, a chalky texture gives plenty to muse over. A fabulous drink.
