Glaetzer-Dixon Mon Pere Shiraz 2021

Elegant red berry, cassis and white pepper aromas mix with integrated raspberry, spice and White pepper spice, bacon fat, fennel and black olive. Rich, red and black fruit compote and supple tannins finishing with an impressive expansion of body.

Our new Coal River Valley grower Meringo provided just over half of grapes for this wine. Shiraz grown at this site has a wonderful spicy meatiness, common with Northern Rhone syrah. Meadowbank Vineyard in the Upper Derwent Valley grew the balance of grapes used in the final blend - resolute with lovely white pepper and black olive tapenade aromas.
