What is our Heartbreak? Estate Riesling, basic Riesling, entry-level Riesling. In any case, our calling card for dry Rieslings! From the base to the top; and the base is already top-notch. Many of the grapes for the Heartbreak are from the first harvest from the top locations Marienburg, Nonnengarten and Goldlay, which gives them their mineral, slate-like origins. As we say on the Mosel: E god Moul voll Wain!
We bottled part of our Heartbreak 2020 unusually early. Well, the 19 was so delicious! 2020 doesn't have to hide behind it. The apple aroma jumps straight out of the glass, tingling and racy tickles the tongue. A light elegance already shows us what we can still expect from the 2020 vintage with hope.
