Express Winemakers Syrah 2021
A true Syrah style - perfumed, with a touch of spice and some meaty savouriness that makes us all go 'ooh!' This is a lovely example from Wagyl Kaip and Southern Noongar (Great Southern, WA).
From two neighbouring vineyards that we farm ourselves using organic practices. The fruit was hand-picked and foot stomped, left on skins and stalks for six days before pressing to old oak barriques, a newer puncheon and a ceramic egg. The wine is vibrant in colour and flavour with a savoury edge, displaying all that Syrah from this part of the country can offer.
