Domaine Michel Lafarge Fleurie 2019

This is an exceptionally steep vineyard of 65-year-old vines; half of it is on a 40-degree slope, which must be ploughed by horse. One-third of the grapes were manually destemmed. The nose is pure and ethereal, with a stony freshness and vibrant raspberry fruit. The palate offers wonderful concentration of rich redcurrant fruit, wrapped in noble tannins. Drink 2022-2030
