It is obtained from the infusion and distillation of flowers, herbs, aromatic roots and tonics through a process that is still scrupulously respected today without any variations whatsoever. It is moderately alcoholic (20°) and has a pleasant and delicate bitter flavor of gentian and cinchona, with minty tones and a persistent amaretto finish. Perfect as a digestive at the end of a meal, as for any Italian amaro.
