Arnaud Lambert Coteaux de Saumur cuvee Moïse 2001
This comes from a selection of botrytis affected grapes from 70 yo vines in the village of Saint Cyr en Bourg. Here the topsoil is a clayey-sandy silt over tuffeau limestone, producing wines of finesse and elegance. The wine carries a moderately sweet 120 g/L of residual sugar, balanced by lively acidity and is perfectly balanced and drinking beautifully now.
