On the palate, the fruit is once again the star of the show, accompanied by delicately toasted, caramelly spice, creamy texture, and a mouthwatering finish. Significantly more layered and richly intense than similarly priced Maconnais offerings, the Cuvee Speciale is both easy-drinking and immensely satisfying. This will pair particularly well with scallops, lobster, or seared white fish, but will sing right alongside dishes like chicken Milanese or paillard with citrusy vinaigrette.
